Yücel ASLAN

Co-Founder

Our founding partner, Yücel Aslan served as MCPO in Turkish General Staff (Project Finance Department) and Turkish Navy for over 20 years and retired as the Navy Officer of Navigation, Hydrography and Oceanography. After leaving the Navy, he qualified as a lawyer and started practicing maritime law. He has more than 10 years of experience as a maritime lawyer focusing on admiralty law, collisions, salvage, general average, pollution, charter party and bills of lading disputes. His main clientele includes ship owners, charterers, P&I clubs, H&M underwriters and salvors. He has in depth experience in the areas of ship finance, project finance and general contract law. Yücel Aslan is also a keen litigator and represents domestic and global companies before Turkish Courts with regard to their disputes of different nature.
